Coloma’s Fire Department is hosting a WI DNR Course. Certified snowmobile safety instructors from the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department will be teaching the course. A Snowmobile Safety Certificate is required in WI to operate a snowmobile on pubic trails, along road right-of-ways and frozen waterways for anyone born after 1985. Participants must be 12 years of age. Students must attend both days and must pass a written exam. A practical exam will be now/weather dependent on Dec 01.

New Requirement: All students must now provide a DNR Customer ID umber which an be obtained by calling customer service at 1-888-936-7463 between 9 am – 1 pm

The class is open to enrollment of 30 students. Parents are welcome to attend in addition to the 30 students.
Registration and fee are due Nov 29. This is a 2-week course.
