Prairie Hike Saturday, June 22nd from 10:00am to 12:00pm Join fellow hikers on a 2.0-mile long group Prairie Hike along the Mecan River segment of the Ice Age Trail with lovely topography and a vista of the Mecan Springs area. Enjoy a mid-morning exploration led by prairie enthusiast, John Shillinglaw, as we meander through savannah, and a prairie restoration area with plenty of spiderwort, leadplant, dotted mint, indian, and big and little bluestem grass and other forbs in bloom.
