Meeting at the school regarding facilities.
The Coloma Community Meeting is on February 7th at 5:30 p.m. Our district is at a point where we do not have enough money to keep up on all the capital expenses, such as HVAC, roof replacement, parking lot repairs or expansion, ceilings, flooring, room repairs, painting-which hasn’t been done since I have been here (31 years), etc. Having said that, at this meeting they will present the top needs as recommended at each of the November meetings and then ask for your (our) input as to what we feel is necessary to take to the board, what could wait, and then you will have the opportunity to share any questions or additional comments you may have that they should think about. They are looking for what we as a community will be in favor of moving forward. This will get us 5 years. After that we will need to look again at a referendum unless school funding changes dramatically at the Federal level. Please join us if you can!
